Making Your Bed
This range of four poster beds has been developed with you in mind, combining time honoured furniture making skills, with modern fittings (even the best traditions need an update).
Making Four Poster Bed Panels

Morticing the stile for the rails to be jointed in. |

Machining the tenon onto the rail to fit into the stile. |

Hand planing the edges of all the stiles and rails |

Then hand sanding them |

Machining the raised fielding onto all the panels. |

Once the dowels are knocked in, the excess is cut off. The four poster bed panel is ready for hand planing and sanding. |
